That technique for moons is so easy it's just not funny.
all it is is a circular marquee, flood fill, lock layer transparency, shade with a hard brush, create a new layer underneath and use a big fuzzy brush to make the glow.
-- well do I lie like a loungeroom lizard, or do I sing like a bird released?
OH MY GOD its going to make me cry its so sweet and lovingly cute...! This is my new wallpaper. I love you.

Um, it's called The Honest Truth. It's by somebody on dA, I think... I only remember the poem, not the author.
if I had something eloquent to say
that would roll off of my pen
and through the greenspace
to find a home in your heart
with a tin-can phone back to mine
so we could speak directly
I would.
but I can't coin phrases today
deep within these walls of my skin
and all the currency's been used and re-used
(they say that money's the dirtiest thing)
if I ever tainted you with moneyed germs
I'm sorry.
and I'd like to tell you something new
to give you a second sun
(because I know you're freezing out there)
I've got nickels, dimes and cliches
but all the money in the world
can't buy back the distance from what
I need.
